The following story tell of my parents was during our Family Home Evening. My mommy Lilibeth Antonio Mendez born in Surigao City moved 1991 in Manila to study in College. She took up Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Mary Chiles College of Nursing. She attended her church meetings in University Ward or what so-called Single Ward located in Manila Philippines Institute of Religion (MPIR), Sampaloc Manila. She moved earlier than my Daddy Jorge Daon Dilag. My Daddy moved in University Ward right after his mission in Cebu Philippines Mission 1996. He took Electronics and Communication Engineering in TIP Manila.

My Mom and Dad meet each other right after my Mom's mission in San Fernando Philippines Mission December 1998. She became a MPIR secretary (substitute). Then got her final job in Makati Medical Center as ICU staff nurse.

My Mom told me that their first date with my Dad was a group date with Ford Solante, Grace Dulnuan, etc in Manila Philippines Temple. Then followed with another group date in PICC Manila. They have so many dates they said. Their final date was, when they became boyfriend during the Centennial Day, a 100 year of independence celebration in the Philippines held in Luneta-Quirino Grandstand, Manila. They said, Mommy was in the height of excitement when she heard filipino songs, grand parade, cultural presentations of native dances, folk songs, and exhibitions, VIP's, surrounded with millions of happy filipinos from different places all over the Philippines. The crowning event was when there was a colorful fire crackers with joyous yelling of people...that was the time when Mommy say "YES" to Daddy. She realized to have a filipino boyfriend rather than a foriegner.

They got married then in Manila Philippines Temple April 6, 1999. Their reception was in the Aberdeen's Court. During their honeymoon in Great Eastern Hotel, they said they, they kneeled down and pray for a healthy baby boy but luckily it turn out a beautiful baby girl which is Ate Jeth, then i followed September 01, 2001.

I was also born in Makati Medical Center like my Ate Jeth and registered in Makati City as my birthplace. Our apartment was in 3/F Pisyong Building, Tramo Street, Pasay City; however, we are still attending University Ward for my Daddy was the Counselor in the Bishopric there. According to my Daddy, our Sacrament Meeting starts at 3:00pm and end up at 6:00pm, sometimes we have to stay and wait for Daddy for they have lots of meetings in the ward until about 9-10pm. We travel to our apartment and arrived for almost 10:00pm and sometimes my Mommy will be late going to work. My Mommy works in the hospital during the night and my Daddy goes to work on the day and we were left to our yaya Tita Odang and Ate Gie.

My Daddy said he graduated in College October 1999 and got his engineer license April 2000, I was then born that time for i was born Jan 7, 2000.

In August 2001, we moved in our new apartment in Guadalupe Viejo Makati City. My nursery school then was in Guadalupe Kinder School, then my Grade 1 in Guadalupe Elementary School. My teacher during my Kinder 1was Miss Cipriano, then my tutor was Miss Saura.

In June 2007, we moved to our new own house in Don Fabian Village, Commonwealth, Quezon City. It is a little bit far from Makati City though.
